World Scout Moot

The World Scout Moot is a special event held every four years for Scouts aged 18-25, traditionally called Rovers. Up to 5,000 young people come together to experience the unique spirit of Scouting, make new friends, and develop new skills and understanding on how to be better global citizens.

16th World Scout Moot in Portugal

Our next World Scout Moot will take place in Portugal from 25 July to 3 August 2025. Hosted by Federação Escutista de Portugal, the Portuguese National Scout Organization, the Moot will bring together Scouts from different countries and regions to promote cross-cultural exchange, understanding, and friendship.

The 17th World Scout Moot will be hosted by The General Association of the Scouts of China in 2029.
